Powerful New Ways to Teach With Laptops
Toshiba and the National Science Teachers Association have teamed to create a new web-based resource to help you incorporate laptops into K-12 science, math, and technology instruction.

Microsoft Lesson Connection is a new set of free tools designed to help teachers search for lesson plans that match their local or state curriculum standards.

The Gateway to Educational Materials (GEM) at http://www.thegateway.org is designed for teachers to type a topic, grade level, and other information into a search screen that then retrieves -- from more than 140 web sites -- lessons, instructional units, and other free educational materials on that topic, for that grade level.

The Learning Connection Web-based format is an innovative approach to a curriculum management network. It allows you to search and browse for lessons mapped to New York State Standards. Teachers get the opportunity to collaborate and exchange lessons with other teachers.
