During scanning, you'll hear progress messages that sound something like this:
Scanning, Please Wait.
Scanning <percentage done>, then Scan Complete.
Orientation <percentage done>, then Orientation Complete.
Recognition <percentage done>, then Recognition Complete.
When you hear, Recognition Complete, this means the document has finished scanning, and appears as the active document in Kurzweil 1000. The Kurzweil 1000 immediately begins reading the document.
