This is the home page of the Inservice Seminars. Follow the link for Web Learning and explore several sites. ICONnect offers excellent courses sent by email.

  http://www.zdu.com/
Sign up for a free 2 week seminar at ZD University. The courses are primarily on using the Internet and Microsoft Office. Virtual University is another good site with a broader list of classes, but they are closed for the Summer (http://www.vu.org/).

http://snow.utoronto.ca/

SNOW (Special Needs Opportunity Windows) is a project aimed at supporting educators of students with special needs. The web site serves as a clearinghouse of practical resources and curricular materials, as a place for educators to meet and share ideas, and as a place for educators to develop their professional skills. Courses can be taken for college credit. One course available is Braille. Go to their unmoderated courses page and explore the HowToWeb Workshop I - Introduction to the Internet course.

into classroom teaching
Choose a website from this page and think about how you would use it to enrich your student’s learning experiences. With the expanded Internet access available in the Fall, teachers will have the opportunity to participate in online projects.
